soursop pollination

Many people complain that no matter how many flowers the soursop plant grows in the backyard, it will not produce a proportionate yield. It is a common experience that most of the flowers that form wither and fall off. The main reason for this is that the flowers are not pollinated. Although both males and females are present in the same flower, maturation occurs at certain intervals, thus preventing masturbation. The purpose of this ‘community maturity’ of earlier female maturation is to provide more opportunities for pollination, which paves the way for the genetic development of their species by mixing traits with outsiders. Unfortunately, the small beetle species of the genus Colioptera, the pollinators, are present in the areas of soursop origin but do not currently inhabit the areas where soursop is widely grown commercially. Therefore, it is possible to avoid pollination and see how the flowers bloom.Watch the video to successfully pollinate soursop and get nuts
